      On April 19, 2025, the Career Talk: Elevate Your HVAC Career with Panasonic at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology – VNU-HCM, organized by Panasonic Sales Vietnam in collaboration with the Department of Heat and Refrigeration Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, concluded with enthusiastic participation from students. This event was part of the Uni Tour series – Heat Up Your Career Path, designed to help young talents prepare for their journey to conquer the upcoming Panasonic Fresher Program 2025.  

Parker Hannifin Vietnam 2025 Seminar: Industrial Engagement – Knowledge Connection

HÌNH 10     On April 4, 2025, at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology – VNU-HCM, the “Industrial Refrigeration Valves” seminar, jointly organized by Parker Hannifin Vietnam and the Department of Heat and Refrigeration Engineering, was successfully held. The event attracted participation from industry experts, business representatives, partners, and a large number of students majoring in Thermal Engineering. It served as a platform for exchanging information about new valve technologies and sharing current trends and solutions being applied in the industry, thereby opening up various opportunities for collaboration and development in industrial projects.

Visit to Heineken Vung Tau Brewery by Faculty Members, Alumni, and Students of Thermal Engineering (03/04/2025)

       On April 3, 2025, students from the Thermal Engineering major – Department of Heat and Refrigeration Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology – VNU-HCM had an insightful and valuable field trip to the Heineken Vietnam Brewery in Vung Tau. The program was jointly organized by the Department of Heat and Refrigeration Technology and Heineken Vietnam Brewery Co., Ltd., with the aim of providing students direct exposure to modern production processes and the practical applications of thermal systems in the food industry – particularly in beer production.

The Daikin NextGen Program is an intensive training program for final-year students and individuals passionate about the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) industry. This is not only an opportunity to gain specialized knowledge but also an important stepping stone for career development in one of the world’s leading air conditioning corporations – Daikin.

As a former participant who has completed the program, I can affirm that this is an incredibly valuable opportunity for anyone wishing to advance in the HVAC field. The program not only helped me strengthen my technical knowledge but also offered unforgettable hands-on experiences, providing a solid foundation for entering a professional work environment.

 


SEMINAR ON “AIR PURIFICATION SOLUTIONS” & AIR FILTECH SCHOLARSHIP AWARD CEREMONY

On March 1, 2025, the seminar “Air Purification Solutions” and the Air Filtech Scholarship Award Ceremony were successfully held at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology – VNU-HCM. The event was co-organized by Air Filtech Company and the Department of Heat and Refrigeration Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology – VNU-HCM. It not only provided valuable technical knowledge but also opened up opportunities for collaboration, offered academic encouragement scholarships, and shared career development insights for students in the field of air filtration.

SEMINAR “DR ENERGY RECOVERY VENTILATOR” – OPPORTUNITIES FOR COLLABORATION AND DEVELOPMENT IN THE HVAC INDUSTRY

On February 20, 2025, the “DR Energy Recovery Ventilator” seminar, equipment donation, and scholarship award ceremony organized by DR Fan took place at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology – VNU-HCM. The event not only provided valuable insights into the HVAC field but also opened up opportunities for collaboration, scholarship sponsorship, and equipment support for students.

On January 14, 2024, the handover ceremony for the HVAC (Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning) Solutions Laboratory, valued at over VND 1.4 billion, was solemnly held at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology – VNU-HCM. This event marked the result of a strategic collaboration between Panasonic Vietnam and the Department of Heat and Refrigeration Engineering, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology – VNU-HCM, aiming to promote the comprehensive development of the Thermal Engineering field in Vietnam. Seminar Introducing the Daikin NextGen Program, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology – VNU-HCM

On the afternoon of December 14, 2024, at Hall B4, the Department of Heat and Refrigeration Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology – VNU-HCM, in collaboration with Daikin Vietnam, successfully organized the seminar “Introducing the Daikin NextGen Program.” The event attracted the attention and participation of more than 80 students majoring in Thermal Engineering, along with faculty members from the department and representatives from Daikin Vietnam.
