Visit to Heineken Vung Tau Brewery by Faculty Members, Alumni, and Students of Thermal Engineering (03/04/2025)

On April 3, 2025, students from the Thermal Engineering major – Department of Heat and Refrigeration Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology – VNU-HCM had an insightful and valuable field trip to the Heineken Vietnam Brewery in Vung Tau. The program was jointly organized by the Department of Heat and Refrigeration Technology and Heineken Vietnam Brewery Co., Ltd., with the aim of providing students direct exposure to modern production processes and the practical applications of thermal systems in the food industry – particularly in beer production.

During the tour, students directly observed the closed-loop beer production line, including brewing, fermentation, filtration, bottling, and packaging. Notably, systems such as air conditioning, heat exchangers, and industrial refrigeration were seamlessly integrated throughout the process to ensure product quality and optimize operational efficiency. Technical representatives from the brewery enthusiastically explained the working principles of each stage, offering students vivid and in-depth real-world insights, serving as clear examples of the practical applications of their field of study.
