Opening Remarks and Gift Presentation from Daikin Vietnam
The program began with an opening speech by Dr. Hà Anh Tùng, Head of the Department of Heat and Refrigeration Engineering, who expressed his pride in partnering with a leading company like Daikin Vietnam to provide valuable career development opportunities for students in the Thermal Engineering field. He also emphasized the importance of collaboration between academia and industry in enhancing training quality and human resource development.

Following that, Ms. Nguyễn Thanh Thuỷ, HR Director of Daikin Vietnam, shared her sincere thoughts on the long-standing cooperation between Daikin Vietnam and the Department of Heat and Refrigeration Engineering. She expressed hope that the Daikin NextGen Program would serve as a stepping stone for students to get closer to the air conditioning industry and open promising career opportunities.

Immediately after the speeches, Daikin Vietnam representatives presented flowers and a commemorative painting to the Department of Heat and Refrigeration Engineering as a token of appreciation and a symbol of the sustainable partnership between the two sides.

Seminar Objectives and Main Content
The seminar was organized to provide Thermal Engineering students with useful information about the Daikin NextGen Program—an intensive training program for young individuals passionate about the air conditioning industry.
At the seminar, representatives from Daikin Vietnam introduced the Daikin NextGen Program. This special training program offers opportunities for professional and soft skill development for students pursuing careers in Sales, Service, Technical Support, and Design. The program roadmap is expected to run from December 2024 to April 2025, consisting of six main phases: application, interview, general training, graduation and selection, intensive training, and officially joining Daikin.
Daikin representatives also shared important insights about the working environment at Daikin Vietnam and the long-term career development opportunities available within the company.

Sharing from Alumni
In addition to Ms. Nguyễn Thanh Thuỷ, the seminar also welcomed Mr. Trần Hải Anh, Mr. Lê Văn Quang, and Mr. Nguyễn Thanh Duy—alumni of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, now holding managerial positions at Daikin Vietnam.
They shared many engaging stories and practical experiences from their journey from university lecture halls to working at Daikin. Their stories not only helped students better understand the profession but also inspired them with strong motivation toward career growth.
